I’ve been playing Klondike Adventures via Swagbucks to earn some extra money. To find out more about how to make money playing mobile games, click here.
The Klondike Game is a farm game set during the Gold Rush era. It’s similar to games such as Farmville where you get energy points that you use to grow or construct things in your home station and complete XP quests to get XP and level up.
If you’re playing the game to earn money on Swagbucks, then you need to get to level 30 within 30 days of installation. As with most farm-style games, you start levelling quickly and it gets progressively harder as you need more and more XP each time. But let’s talk about how to make the most out of this game so you can level up as quickly as possible.

Efficient Energy Management
Achieve peak energy efficiency by maximising your daily energy points and making the most of energy foods and items. Strategically complete high XP quests, using the Order Board and Merchant Ship to your advantage for optimal quest completion.
Maximising daily energy points
To optimise your daily energy points in Klondike, keep an eye on your maximum energy level. This game requires a few minutes of playtime several times a day. Once you’re at max energy, it’s time to use it!
You can get extra energy points when you are farming land. Trees, bushes, and rocks conceal extra coins, food and energy so you can fill your energy bar. There are often chests with energy, some for free and somewhere you have to watch videos.
In your home station, you will gain access to a cauldron, furnace and camping cauldron as you level up. This allows you to turn spoils from the land and animals into energy.
There’s a chance to earn spoils from animals. Animals expire after a while and turn into gold statues. Click this to get items that you can make into energy at your cauldron. Always re-buy animals even if you don’t need the eggs and milk from them so you can get as much spoils to turn into food as possible.

The sweet shop is activated every few hours. Here you play a game where you have to match two items together to make larger items filled with XP and energy. It seems complicated at first but you soon get the hang of it. I focus on matching blueberries and the other items then look after themselves. I don’t bother watching the video for the extra 5 moves as it’s rarely worth it. You don’t get much energy and XP from the game but it is addictive.
When you see the man with balloons appear on your screen, he will give you the chance to watch adverts for a stick of dynamite. This allows you to farm the land without using XP. You don’t have any control over where the dynamite goes, but it will go near your character, so try to move it where you want it. Even if you don’t get the stick of dynamite where you want it, you will still get some good items such as free coins or food that you can use to make energy or use to make other items without having to farm things yourself.
Finding vases and chests in expedition lands also provides a significant boost to your XP gains. This strategy lets players gather more experience without wasting energy items or time on low-return activities.
Optimal use of energy foods and items
Making the most of your energy foods and items is key for moving to the next level in Klondike. You can eat food if your energy is already full. The best thing to do is eat it all before you go into a different zone of the game and use it up. Then you can explore new areas like Forgotten Bay or Wild Land sooner for longer. You will be able to shoot wild animals in some zones and use their meat to make food there also.
Always make sure to stay on top of these possibilities for managing your current energy level better and pushing into higher levels with ease.

Strategic Quest Completion
Maximise your XP gains by focusing on quests with high experience rewards. Effectively utilise the Order Board and Merchant Ship to strategically complete quests in Klondike.
Focusing on high XP quests
To master quick levelling in Klondike, you should focus on high XP quests. These are the best ways to climb levels quickly. Newer tasks often give more experience points. So, keep an eye out for them as you play.
The Order Board and Merchant Ship
Pay attention to the Order Board and Merchant Ship.
Starting at level 11, you can fill orders at the Home Station’s Merchant Ship.
This strategy rewards players with coins, energy, XP, and materials. The ship requires you to send items out for extra items, coins and XP. I don’t always complete this if the items are too complex. You do get some tokens you can use to fill in spaces but use these wisely. For a quick boost in energy without waiting too long, just fill the first row of an order. Once you complete this task, the ship sets off for five hours before returning.
At the order board, you can send products in exchange for coins and XP. The more XP you get, the more complicated the order. It can be time-consuming as you often need several items before you can start producing the materials you need. Try to plan ahead and see what you need from each station (blacksmiths, glassmakers, factory, bakery, dairy etc) so you can get things going at once. You can delete orders you can’t fulfil and after 30 minutes, you will get a new one. I did this when I didn’t have the station/shop required to make the item – eg the packing station wasn’t built yet so I couldn’t make that order anyway.
I recommend using your green gems to buy an extra space in your queue in the shops/factories – you can only make 2 items at a time unless you buy an extra slot with your green gems. This is worthwhile as you can spend more time away from the game while items are being made.
You only have so many workers that can create materials for you – so if you are using all your workers, you may not have enough to start making the item you need. The key around this is to build tents, houses and apartments so you get more – premium housing brings higher returns. When you buy one, you also have to build it by creating items such as chairs, doors, nails, and windows. It’s worth using your workers to make these items before anything else as it will give you more workers. Then you can produce multiple things at once.

Collections for XP Gains
Exchange collections like Hunting Set for quick XP boosts
Trading collections, such as the Hunting Set, becomes a game changer for gaining XP fast. You can swap items when you get a set to food or items to help in consultation.
My Klondike Top Tips:
These tips are just things that I have learnt along the way and have made it easier for me to progress:
- You can use seeds to speed up things growing in the greenhouse. This is great as some items take a long time to grow.
- Always start producing items that take a long time at night. Some items take an hour or more to make – start these off before you go to bed so you can use them when you need them.
- Pumpkins, sugar, cement, flowers, glue and cream are key items for me. If you have a free station not making anything, get it producing one of these for when you do need it!
Klondike Adventures: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get to level 30 in Klondike fast? The fastest way to reach level 30 is to prioritise the Order Board and the Merchant Ship. Focus on clearing your Home Station to find hidden energy and always keep your factories running with long-build items overnight to maximise productivity.
Is the Klondike Swagbucks offer worth it? Yes, but it requires daily commitment. To earn the full reward, you must be strategic with your energy use. Focus on the main questline rather than clearing every single item in expedition lands to ensure you hit the level 30 goal within the 30-day limit.
How do you get free energy in Klondike? You can find free energy by tapping on hidden chests, watching in-game adverts when the man with balloons appears, and converting animal “statues” into energy using the cauldron.
