I’ve not had much time for side hustles in August as my blogs were doing very well work-wise. I always do side-hustles to top up with extra money if I need to.
I didn’t really do any survey work at all in August. I would love to do some more in September, but not if it means sacrificing something that will make me more money!
Here’s what I made in August

Ziglu – £25
I got some referrals which earnt me £25. Ziglu has a referral bonus where you get £5 for referring friends. This offer is boosted every so often.
If you want to get your free £5 from Ziglu, then you can get it here.
Crypto – £47.15
I decided to withdraw my crypto as they got to a decent price so I made a nice bit of profit on it. I invested in Bitcoin and Polkadot. I might buy some more bitcoin in the future if it dips again. I’m no expert in investing and was just experimenting. I just felt it was a good time to cash out while I was ahead!
Freetrade – £44.20
Freetrade had another offer on where you can get a share for at least £10 when you refer a friend. The offer has ended now, but you can still get a share worth between £3-£200. Find out how here.
Top Cashback £36
I got £36 paid through Topcashback which was a mixture of refer a friend bonus and some of the no spend offers. If you want to join and take advantage of these no spend offers, you can find them all here.
YouGov – £50
I got a payout for YouGov surveys this month! I have done well getting points using the YouGov Safe feature. You can sign up and find out how to get extra points here.
That’s Life – £50
I was featured in That’s Life magazine and got paid £50. It was just a couple of sentences about why having a pet isn’t the same as having a baby. I almost got away with nobody knowing, but then someone tweeted me the feature!
Facebook Market Place £50
I sold an old TV that I used to use for playing video games on. Sold it to a young boy who wanted it for the same, hope he enjoys!
Premium Bonds – £25
Won £25 on my premium bonds! Woo. Sadly I’ve not won in September.
Shopping cashback – £3
I’ve not really fancied much on these apps so only got three things and got £3 back for them! If you want to check them out and get some free food and drinks, or money off, then check out more information about them here.
Total: £330.35
Not bad really! I didn’t even realise I had made that much until I sat down and worked it out.
I already do crypto but I definitely need to try the others too. Thanks for suggesting.
I love posts like these as they really open your eyes to what you can do in such little time. I love TopCashBack it’s such a good site/app to have for sure! I’m hoping in September to start doing the YouGov surveys again and I have quite a few books I’m hoping I can sell on Facebook market place too.
These are some great ways to make money – many of which I didn’t know about! Great post xx
Thank you for the suggestions. Many if these are new to me. Keep up the great work!
That’s fantastic! I love having little side hustles that don’t need much monitoring. Here’s to this number continually rising for you 🙂
Awesome, I love side hustles. These are great suggestions and places to make money. Thanks for sharing
Wow! That’s amazing. I’ve been doing lots of surveys recently – including YouGov which I am loving. I signed up for Topcashback last month with your link but haven’t made £10 yet…so maybe that’ll happen for you and me in September aha x
